Babylon Pool Villas are located on the tropical island of Phuket in Thailand.

Thailand lies within the tropical northern hemisphere, stretching more than 1,800km (1,100 miles) from north to south and covering an area of about 517,000 sq km (202,000 sq miles). Its size is more or less like the one of France or Texas. It shares borders with Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia boasting 700km (1,700 miles) of coastline.

Phuket is located on the southern part of the Thai-Malay peninsula on the Andaman Sea which includes that part of the Indian Ocean east of India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The majority of Phuket's tourists arrive by air via Bangkok's International Airport, Suvarnabhumi which offers direct connections to many of the world's major cities through a variety of airlines.

Phuket has its own international airport located 30km north of Phuket city centre. There are tens of daily flights to Bangkok plus connections to other domestic destinations. International direct destinations from Phuket include Penang, Langkawi, Kuala Lampur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Sydney, Perth, Osaka and Tokyo and are increasing. Moreover there are several charter airlines flying directly from Europe, Russia, China, SE Asia in general and US to Phuket all around the year.

Entry Visas are not required by tourists from most countries for a stay of up to 30 days in Thailand but passports should have a minimum of six months remaining, before the date of expiry.

On request we will attend you at the arrival in Phuket International Airport where a comfortable taxi or minivan will drive you to our resort.

Phuket is Thailand's largest island and with an area of 540 sq km, it is about the size of Singapore. In spite of rapid development in recent years the island has all the attributes of a fascinating tropical destination: rocky mountains, limestone cliffs, white powdery beaches, tranquil broad bays and tropical in-land forest.

Babylon Pool Villas are on the southern tip of Phuket and offer a peaceful retreat just behind the pristine water of Nai Harn beach (1.3 km), 45 min. from Phuket International Airport and 30 min. from Phuket Town.

A quiet and laid back area only five minutes from some of Phuket finest beaches and breathtaking natural sceneries (such as Laem Prom Thep and Kata View Point).

Nai Harn itself in fact is regarded as the favorite beach by many on Phuket Island and is surrounded by a small number of restaurants serving cuisine from the four corners of the world.

The nearby charming little coves of Ya Nui and Ao Sane beach offer a cosy atmosphere and the possibility during the high-dry season for some good snorkelling just few meters from the beach or for some kayaking to explore the coral or visit the small surrounding islands.

In Rawai beach instead you will be able to visit the sea-gypsy village with its small fish market, charter a longtail boat for some island touring, strech out in one of the many local beachside seafood restaurants, or just spend a night in one of the many pubs and bars of the area.

Nai Harn is a residential area with few hotels, some bars, shops (ATM, pharmacies, laundry, grocery shops, internet point, massage, etc...) and restaurants which are conveniently located litterally at walking distance from our resort; in particular a gym and a traditional Thai massage centre are located just next to our resort. Nevertheless we suggest all our guests once in here to rent a motorbike or a car to go around and visit the island with all its attractiveness.

The area is quiet and peaceful, yet only 15-20 min. drive from the larger resorts of Kata, Karon, Patong and just 5 min. from Chalong Pier, the departure point for all the daily and live aboard trips to the nearby islands (like the Racha, Phi Phi, Ko Rok, Similan and Surin Islands) for some cruising, diving or biggame fishing.

Phuket international hospitals and a large shopping malls' area are also easily accessible in less then 30 min. by car (although in Nai Harn itself we do have a small Tesco and three 7/11 stores operating 24hrs a day) while many local markets are kept every day in the area.

Also lots are the activities which can be done in Nai Harn…from Elephant Trekking, Muay Thay and Yoga courses, diving, fishing, islands touring, ATV touring, sea kayaking, etc….
